To complete this blog trilogy here is the third idea for one of the best Apps on this planet…
Women often carry heavy handbags with lots of stuff in it. Most of the time we are asking ourselves “What the hell does she have in her bag?”
Three of the most important things she is carrying around are:
- cell phone
What if these three things were all in one App?
Nowadays it’s possible to use your mobile phone as a boarding pass. You are checking in online to travel by plane and a few seconds later you get your e-boarding pass. In addition to your phone all you need to board the aircraft is your passport. But why couldn’t both be on a smart phone? All the data in our passports (picture, date of birth, citizenship, biometric identification) could also be stored on a mobile phone.
Of course, passport information is very sensitive data that must be protected from abuse. This could be done e.g. by using retinal scan technology to identify the owner of the mobile phone and hence of the passport stored on it. In case of abuse the phone could block itself completely or even destroy itself.
So far my considerations for the passport.
To make this handbag even less heavy we should in addition get rid of the purse. Since cash will be obsolete within the next ten years, we do not need to talk about banknotes and coins. However, we will most likely have to live with credit cards for quite a while. In my opinion it should be possible to use the mobile phone as a credit card as well. This way, you wouldn’t need to carry all the Visa, MasterCard, American Express, etc. cards with you – the mobile phone would do it all in one single device. Again, protective measures are needed, of course.
What do you think?
